Preparation for the 15th Annual Community Christmas dinner has begun.
The meal is free and open to anyone in the community that would like to share a meal and companionship on Christmas day. Volunteers from Murphysboro and other communities are very generous with their time and talents, helping to prepare and serve dinner to over 300 people who come to dinner and deliver over 100 dinners to those in Murphysboro who are unable to join us on this special day.
Although we have many volunteers providing labor and companionship, our Christmas dinner would not be possible without the monetary contributions received from generous and caring individuals, organizations, and businesses in Murphysboro. Although your contribution may not provide you with tangible goods or services, be assured it will help to serve, spiritually and physically, those in need during the Christmas season. Please help us continue this much needed service to you community by becoming an annual contributor.
