Troop 4 has provided Christmas toys for needy children in Southern Illinois since 1992, beginning as an Eagle Scout project. Again, this year many families expressed they  didn't have the means to buy Christmas presents for their children, so Troop 4 worked together to furnish gifts for approximately 200 children.  Recently, Troop 4 Boy Scouts bought, collected, repaired and wrapped toys. The presents were delivered to the Guadalupe Center in Cobden for distribution to the needy Hispanic children to provide them with the  joy and hope of the season.
