The 59th Murphysboro Apple Festival is just around the corner and kids are polishing bikes for the Pet and Hobby Parade. Merchants are polishing apples as they get ready to decorate windows, and First Bank and Trust has added another incentive to celebrate the apple.
The bank will be giving away an Apple Computer as a reward to one lucky customer who opens or changes to a new Customer First Checking account or the other new account, e-Z Banking, an all electronic debit-card bill-paying feature.
Registration will open Monday, Sept. 13, through 3 p.m. and run until Friday, Sept. 17, at both Murphysboro locations and at the Carbondale West Park Plaza location.
First Bank and Trust continues to be a major supporter of the Apple Festival, an alcohol-free, family oriented street fair.
