Hi,
We've spent a lovely weekend. My daughter Frances was here, and we celebrated her birthday Sunday and my son Bob's birthday, which was on Feb. 9. I'm sorry my daughter Linda couldn't make it. Her birthday was on Feb. 11. My other daughter Patti's birthday is on Sept. 20, which was Dad's birthday.
My grandson Andy, and his daughter Alana, were here to help us celebrate, also.
My great grandson, Jayson Stevens, who is in the Marines, graduated on Feb. 25th at Camp Johnson, which is part of Camp Lejune in North Carolina. He is now at his duty at Camp Lejune. We are very proud of Jayson and all of his accomplishments. He is in our thoughts and hearts as he enters this new chapter in his life as a Marine. He has been trained as a mechanic.
I'll be glad to see Spring and Summer again. I don't care for the cold weather and the wind.
My gem... Experience is not what happens to you, it is what you do with what happens to you.
I have a big assortment of poems, riddles, jokes, etc... to add to my columns to try and make them more interesting. Today I'm enclosing a list of, "Things to Ponder." I hope you enjoy the change.
