Fire damages house on N. 9th St.

Murphysboro/Pomona/Somerset and Carbondale fire departments responded to a 911 call at 2:23 a.m. on Friday morning concerning a house fire on S. 9th St. in Murphysboro. The house was a total loss. The incident is still under investigation.
